Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of blackcorex.co.za and any services, orders, memberships, or referrals arranged through it, operated by BlackcoreX (Pty) Ltd ("BlackcoreX", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these Terms.

01Who we are & what we do

BlackcoreX is a security and tactical brand. Through the site we (a) present close-protection and security services, (b) offer tactical gear and equipment, (c) offer membership tiers, and (d) connect buyers with licensed third-party dealers for firearms and restricted items. Some services are delivered in-house; others are delivered through a vetted network of independent providers.

02Firearms & restricted items: how sourcing works

Accordingly:

• A price shown against a firearm is an indicative referral price, not an offer of sale by BlackcoreX.
• The identity and details of the supplying dealer are disclosed only after you enquire and confirm your intent to proceed (including any deposit or payment made to secure the referral).
• The actual sale, licensing, competency verification, permit, storage, and physical transfer of any firearm are carried out by the licensed dealer, directly with you, under the Firearms Control Act, not by BlackcoreX.
• You must hold, or be lawfully able to obtain, a valid competency certificate and the applicable firearm licence or permit. No firearm changes hands without this.
• You must be 18 years or older and legally entitled to possess the item.
• BlackcoreX gives no warranty as to any firearm and accepts no liability for the dealer's conduct; the dealer is solely responsible for its regulatory compliance.

Nothing on this site is an offer to supply any item where doing so would be unlawful. We may decline or withdraw any enquiry at our discretion.

03Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or close accounts used unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

04Orders & gear

For non-restricted tactical gear and equipment, placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. We aim to describe items accurately but do not warrant that all content is error-free. Pricing errors may be corrected before dispatch.

05Membership

Membership tiers grant the benefits described on the Membership page for the period paid. Fees, billing cycle, and cancellation terms are shown at sign-up. Membership does not itself authorise possession of any restricted item.

06Payments

Payments are taken by electronic funds transfer (EFT) or a third-party payment gateway. You agree to that provider's terms for the transaction. We do not store your card details. Referral deposits for firearm sourcing are handled as described in clause 02 and in Sourcing & Returns.

07Acceptable use

• Do not use the site unlawfully, or to attempt to acquire any item you are not entitled to hold.
• Do not disrupt, probe, or attempt to breach the security of the site.
• Do not misrepresent your identity, licensing status, or eligibility.

08Intellectual property

The BlackcoreX name, logo, wordmark, content, and design are owned by BlackcoreX (Pty) Ltd and may not be copied or used without written permission.

09Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlackcoreX is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the acts or omissions of independent dealers or providers introduced through the site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

10Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

11Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms.
