This page explains how firearm and restricted-item sourcing referrals work, and the returns, refunds, and delivery policy for tactical gear ordered through blackcorex.co.za. Read it together with our Terms & Conditions.

01Firearm sourcing: the process

BlackcoreX does not hold or dispense firearms. For any firearm or restricted item, we operate a referral to a licensed dealer. The typical flow:

Step	What happens
1 · Enquiry	You submit an enquiry against a listing. No obligation, no source disclosed yet.
2 · Proceed	You confirm intent to proceed and pay the referral deposit (EFT or gateway).
3 · Introduction	The licensed dealer is disclosed and introduced to you directly.
4 · Compliance	The dealer verifies your competency certificate and licence/permit under the Firearms Control Act.
5 · Transfer	The dealer completes the sale, storage, and lawful transfer, directly with you.

The firearm transaction itself is between you and the licensed dealer. Delivery, transfer, and any warranty on the firearm are the dealer's responsibility.

Referral deposits

• The referral deposit secures the introduction and is applied to your purchase with the dealer where applicable.
• If we cannot make a suitable referral, the referral deposit is refundable.
• Once the dealer has been disclosed and introduced, the referral service has been performed and the deposit is non-refundable, save where required by law.
• If the dealer's compliance check shows you are not eligible, no firearm changes hands; any amount held by the dealer is dealt with under the dealer's own terms.

02Tactical gear: returns & refunds

For non-restricted tactical gear and equipment:

• Change of mind: unused items in original, sealed condition may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Return shipping is for your account. A refund or exchange follows inspection.
• Faulty or incorrect items: report within 7 days. Where an item is defective, not as described, or incorrectly supplied, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in line with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.
• Non-returnable: for safety and legal reasons, certain items (for example, used protective equipment, or any restricted item) cannot be returned once supplied.
• Refunds are made to the original payment method within a reasonable period after inspection.

03Delivery

Gear is dispatched to addresses within South Africa via a tracked courier. Delivery timeframes and fees are shown at checkout once courier integration is live. Risk passes on delivery. Restricted items are never shipped by BlackcoreX. They are handled solely by the licensed dealer under clause 01.

04Cancellations

You may cancel a gear order before it is dispatched for a full refund. Once dispatched, the returns policy in clause 02 applies. Firearm referrals follow clause 01.
